The El Capitan Evening of One Acts was student directed and produced. The first play was a spoof of the Trojan War entitled "The Hysterical History of The Trojan War" and was directed by Junior Jonathan Fishman. The second play was a heartfelt drama called "Teen Angel" directed by senior Taylor Cate.

The Theatre Class put on a Medieval Dinner Theatre May 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2008. There was a variety of entertainment from the Middle Ages as well as a four course meal. The performances included singing, dancing, and scenes from the time period. The banquet was hosted by a King and Queen. There was surprises, such as sword fights and some other unexpected visitors.
